I have announced two new public classes for DevExpress technology for 2012 — well, at least for the first few months. They both take place at the well-known venue in Bad Ems, Germany, but they’re both targeted at an international audience and it’s very likely they’ll be held in English! (That’s unless only German attendees should be there.) Here you go (click the links for all the details [LINKS REMOVED]):

I’m proud to have two separate announcements to make today!

There’s great news for all DevExpress DXperience ASP.NET users in the United States! I’m teaming up with DevExpress for a new training class in Las Vegas, in October 2011. The content of the class will be the same as the Expert DXperience ASP.NET class previously announced here. [LINK REMOVED]

The markets in Europe and the US are obviously different, and in recent mon …

I have just made information available on my next DevExpress class: [LINK REMOVED] You can find all the details by following the link. The class is one day longer than my earlier ASP.NET classes, but there are some important differences - including these:

  • It’s one day longer, for a total of three days

  • I call it an “Expert” class, which means it’s meant to go to more depth. Any questions are welcome and will be discussed as much as time allows, plus more time can be spent on in-depth discu …

Last week I did a webinar for DevExpress on XPO, their object/relational mapping product. It went well, I had fun, and around 60 or so people stayed till the end, so it can’t have been half bad! ;-) If you would like to see the webinar, it’s now up on the DevExpress site — click this link to watch it. I had a few requests for the samples I was using and writing during the webinar, so I’m making them available for download. Have fun!

Mehul just posted about it: there’s a free DevExpress XPO webinar coming up on March 31st, 2011. Presented by, well, me :-) Many of you may remember that I and XPO go way back, and during my time at DevExpress I had a chance to work with the team that made the product and, so I hope, push it a little in the right direction. These days, XPO is still a product I like to use and to recommend to my consulting clients [LINK REMOVED] — together with XAF or on its own, it’s usually my .NET data layer …

I’m planning to do at least two DevExpress product classes in Europe in 2011 (in addition to the XPO class announced previously [LINK REMOVED]). Unfortunately it’s hard to do much more than that, but there are lots of topics to choose from: ASP.NET (WebForms), the new MVC products, WinForms, Silverlight, WPF, XAF, … and of course I’ll also have to decide whether to go more for introduction or overview classes or rather expert knowledge. Any feedback you can give me about this will be v…](mailto

For my Expert XPO class [LINK REMOVED], I have now announced the location: the Novotel London West in Hammersmith, London, UK. Early Bird pricing is available now [LINK REMOVED]!

This is the European training class on DevExpress XPO for 2011 — if you use XPO, or consider using it, be there!

My class Business Apps with DXperience ASP.NET [LINK REMOVED] takes place in the Netherlands ten days from now, and today I found that I still have an MSDN Subscription to give away. Sorry, a Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate with MSDN, that’s what it seems to be called these days. Apparently the subscription will expire at the end of the year, so I can’t keep it any longer. The training class comes to mind as the just-around-the-corner event perfect to give this away, so I thought I’d do …
